  3. 3. Cut the chicken into 6 to 8 equal pieces.
  4. 4. Peel the onion, the garlic clove, and the piece of ginger.
  5. 5. Finely dice the onion, the garlic, and the ginger.
  6. 6. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  7. 7. Heat the oil in a hot cast-iron pot.
  8. 8. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown.
  9. 9. Remove the fried chicken from the pot and set it aside.
  10. 10. Add the diced onion, garlic, chilies, and ginger to the pot.
  11. 11. Sauté the vegetables briefly.
  12. 12. Deglaze the mixture with the orange juice.
  13. 13. Pour in the broth.
  14. 14. Stir in the honey.
  15. 15. Return the chicken to the pot.
  16. 16. Cover the pot.
  17. 17. Let the chicken simmer for about 30 minutes.
