Ingredients
- 4 Frankfurter sausages
- 4 Hot Dog buns (e.g. with sesame)
- 4 tbsp fried onions
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp mustard
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- 2. Place the sausages into the hot water.
- 3. Let the sausages sit in the water for about 10 minutes, but do not let them boil.
- 4. Slice the buns lengthwise.
- 5. Remove the sausages from the water and pat them dry.
- 6. Fill the sliced buns with the onions.
- 7. Place the warm sausages into the buns.
- 8. Add ketchup and mustard and serve the hot dogs on plates.
