Ingredients
- 175 g ground green wheat
- 50 g flour (Type 1050)
- baking powder
- 50 g honey
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 egg (size M)
- 75 g soft butter
- 100 g pitted dried plums
- 100 g apricots
- 50 g dried apple rings
- banana chips
- almond sticks
- chopped cashew nuts
- 100 g sliced hazelnut kernels
- 100 g butter
- 150 g honey
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
Instructions
- 1. Put both types of flour and the baking powder into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the honey, vanilla sugar, egg, and butter.
- 3. Quickly knead the ingredients together into a smooth dough.
- 4. Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap.
- 5. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 6. Take the dough out and knead it briefly.
- 7. Grease a baking sheet well.
- 8. Dust a little flour on the work surface so the dough does not stick.
- 9. Roll out the dough on the greased sheet.
- 10. Cut the fruit into small pieces.
- 11. Mix the fruit pieces with the nuts.
- 12. Put honey, butter, and vanilla sugar into a pot.
- 13. Heat the mixture while stirring until everything has melted.
- 14. Stir the fruit and nut mixture into the warm honey-butter mass.
- 15. Spread the topping evenly over the dough while still warm.
- 16. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (Fan: 160 degrees, Gas: Level 2-3).
- 17. Bake the bars in the oven for about 25 minutes.
- 18. Let the pastry cool down completely overnight.
- 19. Cut the cold pastry into rectangles measuring 3 by 7 centimeters.
