🍽️ Elderberry Butter

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 150 g fresh elderberries
- 250 g butter
- 1 small whole grain bread
Instructions
- 1. Melt the sugar in a pot.
- 2. Add the elderberries.
- 3. Simmer the mixture for 3 to 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 4. Pour the mixture through a sieve to remove the berry residue.
- 5. Let the drained liquid drip well.
- 6. Melt the butter.
- 7. Mix the melted butter with the drained berry liquid.
- 8. Fill the butter into jars.
- 9. Let the butter cool down in the jars.
- 10. Serve the butter with whole grain bread as desired.
