🍳 Creamy Millet and Apple Porridge

Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 40 g Millet flakes
- 150 ml Milk (3.5% fat)
- 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 2. Peel the apples and remove the core.
- 3. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Place the apple cubes in an ovenproof dish.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (160 degrees for fan-assisted or gas mark 2-3).
- 6. Bake the apples for about 10 minutes.
- 7. Put the millet flakes into a pot.
- 8. Pour 100 milliliters of water over them.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 10. Reduce the heat to low.
- 11. Let the millet flakes swell for 3 to 5 minutes.
- 12. Add the milk.
- 13. Stir the mixture well.
- 14. Let the porridge simmer briefly.
- 15. Take the baked apple pieces out of the oven.
- 16. Add the apple pieces to the millet porridge.
- 17. Mix everything well together.
- 18. Remove the pot from the heat.
- 19. Let the porridge cool down a bit.
- 20. Stir in rapeseed oil.
- 21. Fill the porridge into jars.
- 22. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- 23. Serve the porridge.
