  1. 1. Put the millet into a pot.
  2. 2. Add twice as much water to the millet.
  3. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low.
  5. 5. Let the millet swell for about 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Wash the pears under running water.
  7. 7. Dry the pears with a cloth.
  8. 8. Cut the pears into quarters.
  9. 9. Remove the cores from the pear pieces.
  10. 10. Cut the pears into small cubes.
  11. 11. Roughly chop the walnut kernels.
  12. 12. Use a large knife or a blender for this.
  13. 13. Transfer the cooked millet into a bowl.
  14. 14. Let the millet cool down a bit.
  15. 15. Stir the millet occasionally.
  16. 16. Mix the thick milk (thickened milk) with the honey.
  17. 17. Add the cinnamon to the milk and honey mixture.
  18. 18. Fold the pear cubes into the millet.
  19. 19. Mix everything well together.
  20. 20. Sprinkle the walnuts over the porridge.
  21. 21. Serve the porridge immediately.
