🍳 Millet and Pear Porridge with Walnuts

Ingredients
- 100 g millet
- 300 g pears (2 pears)
- 40 g walnut kernels
- 300 g sour milk (1.5% fat)
- 2 tsp liquid honey
- 1 pinch cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Put the millet into a pot.
- 2. Add twice as much water to the millet.
- 3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4. Reduce the heat to low.
- 5. Let the millet swell for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Wash the pears under running water.
- 7. Dry the pears with a cloth.
- 8. Cut the pears into quarters.
- 9. Remove the cores from the pear pieces.
- 10. Cut the pears into small cubes.
- 11. Roughly chop the walnut kernels.
- 12. Use a large knife or a blender for this.
- 13. Transfer the cooked millet into a bowl.
- 14. Let the millet cool down a bit.
- 15. Stir the millet occasionally.
- 16. Mix the thick milk (thickened milk) with the honey.
- 17. Add the cinnamon to the milk and honey mixture.
- 18. Fold the pear cubes into the millet.
- 19. Mix everything well together.
- 20. Sprinkle the walnuts over the porridge.
- 21. Serve the porridge immediately.
