Ingredients
- 300 g Venison loin (each 3 cm thick)
- 2 tbsp Cognac
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Cranberry compote
Instructions
- 1. Rub the venison fillets evenly with brandy.
- 2. Brush the fillets lightly with oil.
- 3. Place the meat on the preheated grill.
- 4. Grill the medallions for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
- 5. Cover the meat and let it rest until the core temperature reaches 53 °C.
- 6. Drizzle the finished medallions with a little more brandy.
- 7. Season the meat to your taste.
- 8. Serve the venison medallions with lingonberries.
