🍽️ Raspberry Jam with Elderberry Syrup

Ingredients
- 500 g raspberries
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 350 g jam sugar (2:1)
- 200 ml elderflower syrup
Instructions
- 1. Sort the raspberries and remove any damaged berries.
- 2. Wash the berries only if absolutely necessary to avoid juice loss and water absorption.
- 3. Add the lemon juice and jam sugar to the raspberries.
- 4. Mix the ingredients well and let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes.
- 5. Bring the raspberry mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
- 6. Stir the elderberry syrup into the boiling jam.
- 7. Boil the jam vigorously for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 8. Perform a gel test to check the consistency.
- 9. Remove the pot from the heat once the jam has reached the desired gel consistency.
- 10. Fill the hot jam into hot-rinsed jars to the brim.
- 11. Seal the jars immediately with a screw-top lid.
- 12. Allow the jars to cool down.
