  1. 1. Place the hibiscus flowers into a tea infuser or tea ball.
  2. 2. Add the sage leaves to the infuser as well.
  3. 3. Pour one liter of boiling water over the herbs.
  4. 4. Let the tea steep for eight minutes.
  5. 5. Remove the tea infuser from the liquid.
  6. 6. Leave the sage leaves in the tea.
  7. 7. Let the mixture cool down for thirty minutes at room temperature.
  8. 8. Place the tea in the refrigerator for another thirty minutes.
  9. 9. Squeeze the limes while the tea is cooling.
  10. 10. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  11. 11. Scrape out the seeds (pulp) from the pod.
  12. 12. Add the lime juice to the cooled tea.
  13. 13. Add the vanilla seeds to the tea.
  14. 14. Add the agave syrup to the tea.
  15. 15. Stir the mixture well.
  16. 16. Divide the tea among four glasses.
  17. 17. Add ice cubes to the glasses.
  18. 18. Serve the tea.
