  1. 1. Place the frozen berries on a plate and let them thaw at room temperature.
  2. 2. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces and place them in a small bowl.
  3. 3. Bring the cream to a boil in a saucepan.
  4. 4. Pour the hot cream directly over the chocolate pieces.
  5. 5. Stir the mixture with a spoon until the chocolate has completely melted.
  6. 6. Place the bowl with the chocolate cream in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool down.
  7. 7. Beat the butter with the honey, eggs, and a pinch of salt until creamy using a mixer.
  8. 8. Stir the milk into the butter mixture.
  9. 9. Add the flour and baking powder and mix everything into a smooth batter.
  10. 10. Preheat the waffle iron.
  11. 11. Brush the hot waffle iron with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  12. 12. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of batter into the hot iron.
  13. 13. Close the waffle iron and bake the waffles for approx. 3 minutes until golden brown.
  14. 14. Keep the finished waffles warm in the oven at 80 degrees Celsius (convection) if you are not eating them immediately.
  15. 15. Whip the cooled chocolate cream until creamy using a mixer.
  16. 16. Stir the cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth.
  17. 17. Gently fold the smooth cream cheese mixture into the chocolate cream.
  18. 18. Add the thawed berries and mix them in very gently so they do not get crushed.
  19. 19. Serve the berry cream together with the warm waffles.
