🍳 Savory Rolls with Quark Cream and Tomato

Ingredients
- 1 small shallot
- 50 g soft cheese (e.g. mild Brie)
- 50 g low-fat quark (2 tbsp)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 small tomato
- 1 whole grain roll
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot.
- 2. Cut the shallot into very small cubes.
- 3. Remove the cheese from its packaging.
- 4. Place the cheese in a small bowl.
- 5. Mash the cheese with a fork until crumbly.
- 6. Add the diced shallot to the cheese mixture.
- 7. Add the quark.
- 8. Stir everything well.
- 9. Check the consistency of the mixture.
- 10. Add a little mineral water if the mixture is too thick.
- 11. Season the mixture with salt.
- 12. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 13. Season the mixture with paprika powder.
- 14. Wash the tomato under running water.
- 15. Cut out the stem area of the tomato in a wedge shape.
- 16. Slice the tomato.
- 17. Halve the roll.
- 18. Lightly hollow out the roll halves.
- 19. Spread the quark-cheese mixture onto the roll halves.
- 20. Place the tomato slices on the filled roll halves.
- 21. Fold the rolls back together.
- 22. Serve the savory quark-cheese rolls.
