🍰 Savory Apple and Celery Crumble

Ingredients
- Olive oil (for the pan)
- 400 g mostly waxy potatoes
- 2 apples
- 200 g celeriac
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 200 g cream cheese
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped rosemary
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 75 g rolled oats
- 50 g flour
- 75 g dark bread (stale)
- 75 g butter
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Brush a baking dish with oil.
- 3. Peel the potatoes and slice them.
- 4. Wash the apples, quarter them, and remove the core.
- 5. Cut the apple quarters into wedges.
- 6. Peel the celery and slice it.
- 7. Halve or quarter the celery pieces depending on their size.
- 8. Layer the potatoes, apples, and celery in a shingled pattern, alternating between them.
- 9. Drizzle the vegetables with lemon juice immediately.
- 10. Stir the cream cheese until smooth with the milk and rosemary.
- 11. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 12. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the vegetables.
- 13. Bake the dish for about 45 minutes in the oven.
- 14. Mix the oats with the flour and crumbled dark bread.
- 15. Fold the dry mixture into the melted butter.
- 16. Spread the crumble mixture over the gratin about 15 minutes before the end of the baking time.
- 17. Finish baking until the crumble is crispy and golden brown.
- 18. Remove the dish from the oven.
- 19. Cut the crumble into pieces.
- 20. Serve the portions.
