Ingredients
- 0.5 Lemon
- 75 g Cream cheese (13 % fat)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 5 sprigs Chervil
- 4 slices Rye whole grain bread
- 1 small red onion
- 100 g Smoked salmon
Instructions
- 1. Squeeze the juice from the halved lemon.
- 2. Stir the cream cheese in a bowl until creamy.
- 3. Season the cream cheese mixture with salt, pepper, and the lemon juice.
- 4. Wash the chervil and shake it dry.
- 5. Pluck the chervil leaves from the stems.
- 6. Finely chop the chervil leaves.
- 7. Stir the chopped chervil leaves into the cream cheese mixture.
- 8. Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or under the preheated oven grill.
- 9. Peel the onion.
- 10. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 11. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the toasted bread slices.
- 12. Top the bread with the smoked salmon slices.
- 13. Distribute the onion rings over the salmon.
- 14. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
