  6. 6. Pour in the wine and the vegetable broth.
  7. 7. Let the liquid simmer until it has reduced by about half, which takes about 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Stir the cream cheese into the sauce.
  9. 9. Continue to simmer the sauce until the cream cheese has completely dissolved.
  10. 10. Add the cream to the sauce.
  11. 11. If necessary, let the sauce reduce briefly again.
  12. 12. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  13. 13. Keep the sauce warm on the lowest heat setting.
