  2. 2. Add the flour and quickly knead it into a crumbly dough.
  3. 3. Wrap the dough in cling film.
  4. 4. Place the dough in the fridge for one hour.
  5. 5. Lightly dust a work surface with sugar.
  6. 6. Roll out the dough on the surface to a thickness of 1 cm.
  7. 7. Cut out heart shapes from the dough.
  8. 8. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  9. 9. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
  10. 10. Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the cookies from the oven.
  12. 12. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  13. 13. Mix the powdered sugar with the red food coloring and a little water.
