🍽️ Heart-shaped shortbread cookies

Ingredients
- 150 g butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Pinch Salt
- 250 g Flour
- Sugar (for the work surface)
Instructions
- 1. Mix the butter with the sugar and salt in a bowl.
- 2. Add the flour and quickly knead it into a crumbly dough.
- 3. Wrap the dough in cling film.
- 4. Place the dough in the fridge for one hour.
- 5. Lightly dust a work surface with sugar.
- 6. Roll out the dough on the surface to a thickness of 1 cm.
- 7. Cut out heart shapes from the dough.
- 8. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 11. Remove the cookies from the oven.
- 12. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
- 13. Mix the powdered sugar with the red food coloring and a little water.
- 14. Make sure the glaze is thick.
- 15. Paint pink hearts onto the cooled cookies with a brush.
