🍽️ Herring with Radish Cream Dressing

Ingredients
- 8 herring fillets
- 1 bunch radishes
- 1 tart apple
- 1 white onion
- 2 small pickled gherkins
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- 200 g sour cream
- 250 g yogurt
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the herring fillets crosswise into strips about finger-width thick. Wash the radishes, trim off the green tops, and cut them into small cubes.
- 2. Wash the apple, cut it into quarters, and remove the core. Slice the flesh into thin pieces. Peel the onion, halve it, and chop it finely. Dice the cucumber.
- 3. Whisk the sour cream, yogurt, and vinegar together in a bowl. Gently fold in the herring pieces, radish cubes, apple slices, onions, cucumbers, and chives into the cream mixture.
- 4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Let the dish marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
