Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 20 g flour (1.5 tbsp)
- 200 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 200 ml classic vegetable broth
- nutmeg
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan.
- 2. Add the flour.
- 3. Stir the mixture constantly with a whisk.
- 4. Sauté the mixture until it turns light yellow.
- 5. Pour the milk into the pot.
- 6. Pour the vegetable broth into the pot.
- 7. Stir the liquid constantly.
- 8. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 9. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 10. Cover the pot with a lid.
- 11. Simmer the sauce for 15 minutes.
- 12. Stir the sauce occasionally while cooking.
- 13. Grate some nutmeg directly into the sauce.
- 14. Season the sauce with salt.
- 15. Season the sauce with pepper.
