🍽️ Warm Almond Milk with Date and Gingerbread Spice

Ingredients
- 20 g unpeeled almond kernels (1 tbsp)
- 1 dried date
- 150 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 1 pinch gingerbread spice
- 1 tsp honey
- 15 g small gingerbread heart (1 small gingerbread heart) or other heart-shaped cookie
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop the almonds using a large knife.
- 2. Pit the date and optionally remove the skin.
- 3. Cut the date into small pieces.
- 4. Place the chopped almonds, date pieces, milk, and gingerbread spice into a small saucepan.
- 5. Heat the mixture on the stove.
- 6. Turn off the heat.
- 7. Let the mixture steep in the pot for 5 minutes.
- 8. Stir the honey into the warm milk.
- 9. Blend the entire mixture finely using a hand blender.
- 10. Ensure that no almond pieces are visible anymore.
- 11. Pour the finished almond milk into a tall glass.
- 12. Make a slit on one side of a gingerbread heart.
- 13. Place the gingerbread heart on the rim of the glass with the slit.
