  6. 6. Let the mixture rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Add the melted butter, egg yolk, saffron threads, and salt to the remaining flour.
  8. 8. Knead everything into a smooth, pliable dough.
  9. 9. Cover the bowl.
  10. 10. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Take the dough out.
  12. 12. Knead it briefly on a lightly floured work surface.
  13. 13. Slap it down once firmly.
  14. 14. Cover it again.
  15. 15. Let the dough rise for another 40 minutes.
  16. 16. Punch the risen dough down briefly to release the air.
  17. 17. Divide the dough into a total of six pieces.
  18. 18. Form three smaller and three larger portions.
  19. 19. Cut or shape the bodies of the Easter hares from the dough pieces.

  30. 30. Brush the hares with a little egg yolk.
