🍰 Plum Yeast Cake

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 0.2 lukewarm milk
- 400 g wheat flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 100 g sugar
- 75 g melted butter
- 2 kg plums
- pearl sugar
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve the yeast and one tablespoon of sugar in the milk.
- 2. Let the milk mixture rest for 15 minutes under a lid.
- 3. Mix half of the flour, the salt, the egg, 75 grams of sugar, the yeast milk, and the melted butter into a dough.
- 4. Knead the remaining flour into the dough gradually.
- 5. Let the yeast dough rise for about 30 minutes under a lid.
- 6. Wash the plums thoroughly.
- 7. Halve the plums and remove the pits.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 9. Knead the dough vigorously.
- 10. Grease a baking sheet with butter.
- 11. Roll out the dough on the sheet.
- 12. Arrange the plums in a shingled pattern on the dough.
- 13. Place the cake in the preheated oven.
- 14. Bake the cake for 45 minutes.
- 15. Sprinkle the finished cake with pearl sugar.
