🍽️ Easter Yeast Bread with Colored Eggs

Ingredients
- 8 Eggs (and red Easter egg coloring)
- 0.5 tsp Oil
- 500 g Flour
- 1 Cube Yeast
- 100 g Sugar
- 100 g Butter
- 1 Unpeeled Orange
- 1 tsp Anise Powder
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 30 g Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Boil the five eggs in boiling water for five minutes.
- 2. Color the cooled eggs with food coloring.
- 3. Lightly rub the colored eggs with oil.
- 4. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
- 5. Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 6. Mix the yeast with six tablespoons of lukewarm water.
- 7. Pour the yeast mixture into the well.
- 8. Lightly dust the surface with a little flour.
- 9. Cover the bowl.
- 10. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- 11. Slightly warm the butter.
- 12. Add the warm butter, sugar, and three eggs to the pre-dough.
- 13. Knead the ingredients vigorously.
- 14. Grate the orange peel finely.
- 15. Knead the orange peel and anise powder into the dough.
- 16. Shape the dough into a ball.
- 17. Cover the dough ball.
- 18. Let the dough rise for one hour.
- 19. Grease a baking sheet with fat.
- 20. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface.
- 21. Knead the dough together briefly.
- 22. Take one third of the dough off.
- 23. Shape the remaining dough into a loaf 30 centimeters long.
- 24. Place the loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
