🍽️ Crunchy Hazelnut Honey Brittle

Ingredients
- 600 g honey
- 1 tbsp thyme leaves
- 500 g hazelnuts
Instructions
- 1. Pour the honey into a saucepan.
- 2. Heat the honey over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes until it simmers gently.
- 3. Add the hazelnuts and thyme.
- 4. Let the mixture simmer for another 20 to 25 minutes.
- 5. Test the consistency: Drop a spoonful of the hot honey into a glass of ice-cold water.
- 6. If the drop hardens immediately, the brittle is ready.
- 7. Line a baking sheet measuring 22 x 24 cm with baking paper.
- 8. Pour the hot hazelnut honey mixture onto the sheet.
- 9. Spread the mixture evenly with a spoon or spatula.
- 10. Allow the brittle to cool completely.
- 11. Carefully peel the cooled brittle off the baking paper.
- 12. Cut the brittle into small cubes.
- 13. Fill small paper cups with the cubes.
- 14. Serve the brittle cubes directly from the paper cups.
