🍽️ Crunchy Caramel Hazelnuts

Ingredients
- 200 g Sugar
- 80 g whole hazelnuts
Instructions
- 1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2. Lightly toast the hazelnuts in a pan without adding any fat.
- 3. Remove the pan from the heat and let the nuts cool down completely.
- 4. Put the sugar in a pot and melt it over medium heat while stirring constantly.
- 5. Continue to brown the caramel until it reaches an amber color.
- 6. Dip the cooled hazelnuts in batches into the liquid caramel.
- 7. Lift the caramelized nuts out one by one using a long fork or tongs.
- 8. Place the nuts individually onto the prepared baking paper.
- 9. Make sure the longer side of the nut is facing upwards.
- 10. Let the nuts cool down completely on the tray to harden.
- 11. Repeat the process until all hazelnuts are caramelized.
