🍽️ Harzer Cheese with Crispy Spring Onions

Ingredients
- 2 bunches spring onions
- 3 sprigs flat-leaf parsley
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- lemon pepper
- 150 ml classic vegetable broth
- 180 g small Harzer cheese (6 small Harzer cheese)
- 2 slices rye whole wheat bread
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the spring onions.
- 2. Cut the green tops into pieces about 5 centimeters long.
- 3. Split the white onion parts in half if necessary.
- 4. Wash the parsley and thyme under running water.
- 5. Shake the herbs dry.
- 6. Pluck the small leaves off the thyme stems.
- 7. Heat some oil in a frying pan.
- 8. Fry the spring onions over medium heat.
- 9. Stir occasionally while doing so.
- 10. Let the onions cook for about 3 minutes.
- 11. Add the prepared herbs to the pan.
- 12. Fry everything together for another 2 minutes.
- 13. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 14. Pour the vegetable broth into the pan.
- 15. Let the liquid come to a vigorous boil once.
- 16. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 17. Take the Harzer cheese out of the packaging.
- 18. Place the cheese onto the plates.
- 19. Distribute the warm spring onions along with the sauce on top.
- 20. Serve the dish immediately with fresh bread.
