🍽️ Grilled Burgers with Peppers and Onions

Ingredients
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp freshly chopped oregano
- 1 stale roll
- 1 shallot
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp chopped thyme
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 tbsp hot mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 400 g mixed minced meat
- 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 sesame seed rolls
- 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
Instructions
- 1. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the stem and seeds from the peppers.
- 3. Cut the peppers into thin strips.
- 4. Peel the onions.
- 5. Slice the onions into thick rings.
- 6. Place the pepper strips and onion rings in a grilling pan.
- 7. Add the oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- 8. Mix everything well together.
- 9. Preheat the grill.
- 10. Place the grilling pan on the hot grill.
- 11. Grill the vegetables for about 10 minutes until soft.
- 12. Stir the vegetables occasionally during grilling.
- 13. Briefly soak the buns in lukewarm water.
- 14. Squeeze the water out of the buns.
- 15. Peel the shallot.
- 16. Dice the shallot finely.
- 17. Heat some oil in a pan.
- 18. Sauté the shallot cubes in the hot oil.
- 19. Add the chopped parsley.
- 20. Add the thyme.
- 21. Let the mixture cool down slightly.
- 22. Add the squeezed bun to the minced meat.
- 23. Add the shallot-parsley mixture to the minced meat.
- 24. Add the egg.
- 25. Add the paprika powder.
- 26. Add the mustard.
- 27. Add the ketchup.
- 28. Mix everything with the minced meat.
- 29. Add more crumbs if necessary.
- 30. Ensure the mixture is moldable and not too soft.
- 31. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
- 32. Form four burger patties from the mixture.
- 33. Place the patties on the grill.
- 34. Grill the patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- 35. Slice the buns open.
- 36. Place the buns with the cut sides down on the grill.
- 37. Toast the buns briefly.
- 38. Remove the buns from the grill.
- 39. Spread one tablespoon of barbecue sauce on the bottom of each bun.
- 40. Place a grilled burger on each bun.
- 41. Place the grilled vegetables on the burger.
- 42. Place the top of the bun on.
