🍽️ Mini Burger Meatballs

Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- breadcrumbs (as needed)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- ghee (for frying)
- 12 small sesame buns (party buns)
- 3 tomatoes
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1 handful cress
Instructions
- 1. Mix the minced meat with the eggs, chopped parsley, and breadcrumbs in a bowl.
- 2. Season the meat mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. Shape the mixture into twelve small, equal-sized meatballs.
- 4. Heat some ghee in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- 5. Fry the meatballs in batches until golden brown.
- 6. Cook them for about two to three minutes on each side.
- 7. Slice the sesame buns horizontally in the middle.
- 8. Spread the bottom bun halves generously with ketchup.
- 9. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 10. Remove the hard stem area from the top of the tomatoes.
- 11. Slice the tomatoes into thin, round slices.
- 12. Place one fried meatball on each prepared bun half.
- 13. Top the burgers with the tomato slices and fresh cress.
- 14. Cover the burgers with the top bun halves.
- 15. Insert a toothpick through the center of each burger to hold them together.
- 16. Serve the mini burgers immediately.
