🍽️ The Perfect Burger

Ingredients
- 100 g Mayonnaise
- 100 g Yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 1 drop Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 handfuls mixed leaf salad (e.g. endive, radicchio, head lettuce)
- 1 Beef tomato
- 1 red onion
- 600 g Ground beef
- 1 tbsp hot mustard
- 1 small onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 4 Burger buns
Instructions
- 1. Put mayonnaise, yogurt, and ketchup into a small bowl.
- 2. Add a pinch of paprika powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Stir the ingredients well until a smooth sauce forms.
- 4. Taste the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 5. Refrigerate the sauce until you need it for assembly.
- 6. Wash the lettuce under cold water.
- 7. Spin the lettuce dry or pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 8. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized small pieces.
- 9. Wash the tomato thoroughly.
- 10. Remove the hard stem area at the top of the tomato.
- 11. Slice the tomato into thin, even rounds.
- 12. Peel the red onion.
- 13. Slice the red onion into thin rings.
- 14. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- 15. Put the minced meat and mustard into a large bowl.
- 16. Peel the onion and the garlic.
- 17. Dice the onion and the garlic very finely.
- 18. Add the diced onion and garlic to the minced meat.
- 19. Mix everything well with your hands or a spoon.
- 20. Season the meat mixture with salt and pepper.
- 21. Form four equal-sized meat patties from the mixture.
- 22. Place the meat patties on the hot grill.
- 23. Grill the patties for 3 to 4 minutes on the first side.
- 24. Flip the patties and grill them for another 3 to 4 minutes on the other side.
- 25. Cut the burger buns horizontally in the middle.
- 26. Place the bun halves briefly on the grill to toast them.
- 27. Take the buns off the grill and place them on a plate.
- 28. Spread the prepared sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
- 29. Place a portion of lettuce on the sauced bun bottom.
- 30. Place a grilled meat patty on the lettuce.
- 31. Place the tomato slices on the meat patty.
- 32. Distribute the onion rings over the tomato slices.
- 33. Cover the burger with the top half of the bun.
- 34. Serve the burger immediately and enjoy it.
