🍰 Golden Semolina Halwa

Ingredients
- 175 g semolina
- 175 g ghee
- 100 g sugar
- 75 g raisins
- 500 ml water
Instructions
- 1. Warm the ghee in a pan.
- 2. Add the semolina to the pan.
- 3. Stir the semolina constantly.
- 4. Wait until the fat is fully absorbed by the semolina.
- 5. Continue to toast the semolina until it is golden brown.
- 6. Stir the sugar into the pan.
- 7. Pour in the hot water.
- 8. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 9. Continue to stir while cooking.
- 10. Fold the raisins into the mixture.
- 11. Reduce the heat to low.
- 12. Continue to simmer the mixture over low heat.
- 13. Stir continuously.
- 14. Wait until the mixture is thick and porridge-like.
- 15. Lightly dampen a baking sheet.
- 16. Spread the hot halwa mixture onto the sheet.
- 17. Allow the halwa to cool down completely.
- 18. Cut the cooled halwa into squares.
- 19. Serve the halwa.
