  4. 4. Place the prepared rosehips in a bowl.

  6. 6. Cover the bowl.
  7. 7. Let the mixture steep overnight.
  8. 8. The next day, put the rosehips and sugar into a pot.
  9. 9. Add the apple juice.
  10. 10. Pour in 150 milliliters of water.
  11. 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  12. 12. Simmer the rosehips for about 20 minutes.
  13. 13. Stir occasionally while doing so.

  15. 15. Cut the apples into quarters.
