🍽️ Rosehip Jam with Apple

Ingredients
- 500 g rosehip
- 200 g sugar
- 150 ml apple juice
- 300 g sour apples
- 1 untreated lemon (peel and juice)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 200 g jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rosehips thoroughly.
- 2. Cut the rosehips in half.
- 3. Remove the seeds using a small spoon or a melon baller.
- 4. Place the prepared rosehips in a bowl.
- 5. Cover them with the sugar.
- 6. Cover the bowl.
- 7. Let the mixture steep overnight.
- 8. The next day, put the rosehips and sugar into a pot.
- 9. Add the apple juice.
- 10. Pour in 150 milliliters of water.
- 11. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 12. Simmer the rosehips for about 20 minutes.
- 13. Stir occasionally while doing so.
- 14. Peel the apples.
- 15. Cut the apples into quarters.
- 16. Remove the core.
- 17. Dice the apple pieces finely.
- 18. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 19. Peel the skin off the lemon.
- 20. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 21. Add the cinnamon stick to the pot.
- 22. Add the chopped apples to the pot.
- 23. Add the pectin sugar to the pot.
- 24. Add the cinnamon stick to the pot.
- 25. Add the chopped apples to the pot.

- 27. Let the mixture simmer for another five minutes.
- 28. Remove the cinnamon stick from the pot.
- 29. Fill the hot jam immediately into rinsed jars.
- 30. Seal the jars tightly.
- 31. Place the jars on a damp cloth.
- 32. Turn the jars upside down.
- 33. Let them cool for about 15 minutes.
- 34. Turn the jars back over.
- 35. Let them cool completely.
