🍳 Oatmeal Porridge with Soaked Dried Fruits

Ingredients
- 50 g plums
- 50 g apricots
- 0.5 l milk (a little more if needed)
- 100 g rolled oats
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 6 tbsp whipping cream
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the dried fruits under hot water.
- 2. Place the fruits in a bowl.
- 3. Cover them with 250 milliliters of water.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the fruits soak for 5 hours.
- 5. Remove the fruits from the water.
- 6. Let them drain well.
- 7. Chop the fruits into small pieces.
- 8. Put the milk, a pinch of salt, and the oat flakes into a pot.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil once.
- 10. Reduce the heat to low.
- 11. Let the porridge simmer for 10 minutes.
- 12. Stir the porridge frequently.
- 13. Divide the finished porridge onto plates.
- 14. Top the porridge with the prepared fruits.
- 15. Sprinkle sugar over it.
- 16. Add a dollop of whipped cream.
- 17. Serve the porridge warm.
