🍽️ Creamy Oatmeal with Sweet Apricots

Ingredients
- 200 g Oat flakes
- 600 ml Milk
- 2 tsp Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- 800 g ripe Apricots
- Agave syrup
Instructions
- 1. Pour the milk into a pot.
- 2. Stir in the vanilla sugar and the oat flakes.
- 3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4. Reduce the heat and let the porridge simmer on low heat.
- 5. Stir occasionally while doing so.
- 6. Let the porridge cook for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- 7. The oatmeal is ready when the flakes have softened and have a creamy consistency.
- 8. Add a little more milk if the porridge is too thick.
- 9. Divide the oatmeal into two bowls.
- 10. Place the raisins in a bowl with warm water.
- 11. Let the raisins soak for a short time.
- 12. Remove the raisins from the water and let them drain well.
- 13. Wash the apricots thoroughly.
- 14. Pour boiling water over the apricots.
- 15. Peel the skin off the apricots.
- 16. Halve the apricots.
- 17. Remove the pits from the apricot halves.
- 18. Place the apricots in a pot.
- 19. Pour in 80 milliliters of water.
- 20. Add four tablespoons of agave syrup.
- 21. Heat the mixture in the pot.
- 22. Simmer the apricots for 2 to 3 minutes under a lid.
- 23. Remove the pot from the heat and let the apricots cool down.
- 24. Place the apricots and the raisins on top of the oatmeal.
- 25. Serve the dish immediately.
