🍳 Crunchy Oat Pine Nut Clusters

Ingredients
- 75 g pine nuts (or almonds)
- 250 g rolled oats
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 50 ml honey
- 50 ml maple syrup
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 50 g dried cherries
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the pine nuts.
- 2. Add the pine nuts and oat flakes to a large bowl.
- 3. Add cinnamon and salt.
- 4. Stir the dry ingredients well until evenly combined.
- 5. Place honey, maple syrup, and oil in a small saucepan.
- 6. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly until it boils.
- 7. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- 8. Carefully pour the hot liquid over the oat mixture.
- 9. Gently fold the mixture with a wooden spoon to avoid crushing the flakes.
- 10. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 11. Spread the oat mixture evenly on the tray.
- 12. Preheat the oven to 125 °C (convection: 110 °C, gas: setting 1-2).
- 13. Bake the crunchies in the oven for approx. 1 1/4 hours.
- 14. Carefully turn the mixture 2 to 3 times during baking.
- 15. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 16. Let the crunchies cool down completely.
- 17. Mix the cooled crunchies with the dried cherries.
- 18. Fill the mixture into an airtight jar.
- 19. Remove the crunchies in portions to keep them fresh.
