🍽️ Crispy Baguette Bites with Shrimp and Egg

Ingredients
- 100 g soft butter
- 1 clove garlic
- herb salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 4 eggs
- 12 slices baguette
- 12 cocktail shrimp
- parsley (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with top heat.
- 2. Let the butter soften at room temperature and beat it until creamy.
- 3. Press the peeled garlic into the butter.
- 4. Season the butter mixture with herb salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg.
- 5. Boil the eggs hard for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Peel the cooled eggs and cut them lengthwise into quarters.
- 7. Place the baguette on a rack and bake it in the oven for about 5 minutes until crispy.
- 8. Rinse the shrimp briefly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Melt 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter in a pan over low heat.
- 10. Toss the shrimp in the melted butter.
- 11. Spread the remaining seasoned butter on the warm baguette slices.
- 12. Place one shrimp and one egg quarter on each baguette piece.
- 13. Garnish the bites with fresh parsley and serve.
