🍽️ Chicken Skewers with Apricots

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 2 large chicken breast fillets
- 4 shallots
- 500 g apricots
- salt
- 8 long wooden skewers
Instructions
- 1. Add sesame oil and two tablespoons of neutral vegetable oil to a bowl.
- 2. Add cumin, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon.
- 3. Cut the meat into cubes of about three centimeters.
- 4. Mix the meat cubes thoroughly with the spiced oil.
- 5. Let the meat mixture marinate for one hour.
- 6. Peel the shallots and halve them.
- 7. Wash the apricots and halve them.
- 8. Remove the pits from the apricot halves.
- 9. Alternately thread meat cubes, shallot halves, and apricot halves onto the skewers.
- 10. Heat the remaining oil in a pan.
- 11. Fry the skewers in batches over medium heat.
- 12. Fry the skewers for four to five minutes on each side.
- 13. Remove the finished skewers from the pan.
- 14. Season the skewers with salt to taste.
