🍽️ Crispy Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 sprigs fresh coriander
- 2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 eggs
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil
- juice of one lime
- 4 limes
- 12 wooden skewers
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chicken thoroughly and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Push the meat through a meat grinder.
- 3. If you do not have a meat grinder, chop the meat very finely with a sharp knife.
- 4. Wash the fresh coriander and spin it dry.
- 5. Chop the coriander finely.
- 6. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely as well.
- 7. Wash the limes.
- 8. Cut the limes into small wedges.
- 9. Place the minced chicken into a large bowl.
- 10. Add the eggs.
- 11. Add the breadcrumbs.
- 12. Add the chopped garlic.
- 13. Add the chopped coriander.
- 14. Add the ginger powder.
- 15. Add the chili powder.
- 16. Add the lime juice.
- 17. Knead all ingredients well with your hands.
- 18. Check the consistency of the mixture.
- 19. If the mixture is too soft, add a little more breadcrumbs.
- 20. If the mixture is too hard, add two tablespoons of water.
- 21. Season the mixture with salt.
- 22. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 23. Moisten your hands with a little water.
- 24. Shape small sausages from the meat mixture.
- 25. The shape should resemble croquettes.
- 26. Add ten tablespoons of oil to a frying pan.
- 27. Heat the oil in the pan.
- 28. Fry the meat balls thoroughly on all sides.
- 29. This will take four minutes.
- 30. Place the finished balls on kitchen paper.
- 31. Let the excess fat drain off.
- 32. Thread each meat ball onto a wooden skewer.
- 33. Serve the skewers warm.
- 34. Serve the lime wedges as a side dish.
