  5. 5. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Fry the chicken pieces in the hot bacon fat until golden brown on all sides.
  7. 7. Deglaze the pan with the broth.
  8. 8. Wash the leek and remove the tough ends.
  9. 9. Slice the leek into thin rings.
  10. 10. Distribute the leek rings evenly over the chicken pieces in the pan.
  11. 11. Cover the pan and let the dish simmer for about 20 minutes.
