🍽️ Crispy Chicken Thighs with Sesam-Cornflakes Crust

Ingredients
- 8 small chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 0.5 tsp paprika powder
- salt
- pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 100 g sesame seeds
- 50 g chopped cornflakes
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken thighs under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Whisk honey, mustard, paprika powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make a marinade.
- 4. Rub the chicken thighs all over with the marinade.
- 5. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until smooth with the potato starch.
- 6. Mix sesame seeds and cornflakes in a third bowl.
- 7. Coat the marinated thighs in the egg mixture so they are completely covered.
- 8. Press the wet thighs into the sesame-cornflake mixture until they are firmly coated.
- 9. Place the breaded chicken thighs in a baking dish.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (200 °C with fan or gas mark 3–4).
- 11. Bake the chicken thighs for 40 minutes in the oven until golden brown and cooked through.
