🍽️ Chicken Salad Burger

Ingredients
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 2 chicken breast fillets (approx. 150 g each)
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 dash lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 handfuls lamb's lettuce
- 4 burger buns (sesame)
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds (toasted)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the parsley under running water and shake it dry.
- 2. Place the parsley, a bay leaf, pepper, and about 400 milliliters of water in a pot.
- 3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4. Rinse the chicken meat and place it in the boiling water.
- 5. Let the meat cook gently over low heat for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Remove the chicken from the broth and let it cool down completely.
- 7. Cut the cooled chicken into small pieces.
- 8. Stir the raisins in a bowl with the mayonnaise and curry powder.
- 9. Season the mixture with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 10. Fold the chicken pieces into the dressing mixture.
- 11. Wash the lamb's lettuce, remove any damaged leaves, and spin it dry.
- 12. Slice the buns horizontally in the middle.
- 13. Top the bottom bun halves with the lamb's lettuce.
- 14. Place the chicken salad on top of the lettuce.
- 15. Sprinkle the almonds over the burger.
- 16. Place the top bun halves on and serve the dish.
