🍽️ Crispy Chicken Drumsticks with Spicy Pepper Stew

Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 3 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 onion
- bell peppers (2 yellow and 2 red each)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 100 ml white wine
- 200 g wild rice mix
Instructions
- 1. Melt the butter until liquid.
- 2. Coat the chicken drumsticks evenly with the melted butter.
- 3. Season the meat generously with salt and black pepper.
- 4. Place the chicken drumsticks in a baking dish.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 6. Roast the meat in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
- 7. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 8. Remove the stem and seeds from the pepper.
- 9. Halve the pepper lengthwise.
- 10. Cut the pepper flesh into small cubes.
- 11. Peel the onion.
- 12. Dice the onion finely.
- 13. Heat some butter in a pan.
- 14. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot butter until translucent (soft and see-through).
- 15. Add the pepper cubes to the onion.
- 16. Sauté the vegetables briefly.
- 17. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 18. Pour the wine over the vegetables.
- 19. Place a lid on the pan.
- 20. Let the vegetables simmer under the lid for about 8 minutes.
- 21. Remove the lid from the pan.
- 22. Let the remaining liquid evaporate over high heat.
- 23. Place the chicken drumsticks on the plates.
- 24. Add the pepper and onion vegetables.
- 25. Serve the dish with a wild rice mix.
