🍽️ Oven Roasted Chicken Drumsticks with Carrots

Ingredients
- 2 Onions
- 2 tsp Thyme
- 4 Chicken drumsticks
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 125 ml Noilly Prat
- 125 ml Chicken broth
- 4 Carrots
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and cut them into wedges.
- 2. Wash the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the drumsticks with salt and pepper.
- 4. Heat oil in a casserole dish or pot over high heat.
- 5. Brown the chicken drumsticks on all sides.
- 6. Add the onion wedges to the meat and sauté them briefly.
- 7. Add thyme, Noilly Prat (a dry vermouth wine), and broth to the casserole.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and set the rack to the lower position.
- 9. Roast the dish in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
- 10. Wash and peel the carrots.
- 11. Cut the carrots into bite-sized pieces.
- 12. Add the carrot pieces to the chicken drumsticks.
- 13. Roast everything in the oven for another 20 minutes.
