🍽️ Crispy Chicken Drumsticks with Chorizo and Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 4 large chicken drumsticks
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 30 g melted butter
- 350 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 300 g chorizo
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water.
- 2. Pat the drumsticks dry thoroughly with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season the drumsticks on all sides with salt and pepper.
- 4. Place the drumsticks in a baking dish.
- 5. Brush the drumsticks with the butter.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 7. Bake the drumsticks in the oven for 20 minutes.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes under running water.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes in half through the middle.
- 10. Wash the bell peppers under running water.
- 11. Cut the bell peppers in half through the middle.
- 12. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
- 13. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips.
- 14. Slice the chorizo into thin rounds.
- 15. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
- 16. Fry the chorizo and the pepper strips in the pan.
- 17. Turn the ingredients occasionally while frying.
- 18. Fry the mixture for about 5 minutes.
- 19. Mix the fried mixture with the tomato halves.
- 20. Season the vegetable-chorizo mixture with pepper.
- 21. Distribute the vegetable-chorizo mixture around the chicken drumsticks in the baking dish.
- 22. Bake the dish for another 20 minutes in the oven.
- 23. Pierce a chicken drumstick to check the doneness.
- 24. Check the escaping cooking juices.
- 25. The drumsticks are done when the juice is clear and not red.
