🍽️ Crispy Chicken Drumsticks with Lemon Broccoli Sesame

Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks (kitchen-ready)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 unpeeled lemons
- 600 g broccoli florets
- 4 garlic cloves
- olive oil
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 120 ml poultry stock
- 2 tbsp light sesame seeds
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the chicken drumsticks thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Separate the drumsticks into smaller pieces at the joints.
- 4. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- 5. Rinse the lemons under hot water and dry them.
- 6. Cut the lemons into bite-sized pieces.
- 7. Wash the broccoli and remove the tough stems.
- 8. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
- 9. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 10. Cook the broccoli for about 4 minutes in the boiling water (this is called blanching).
- 11. Immediately shock the broccoli with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 12. Let the broccoli drain well.
- 13. Press the garlic with the flat side of a knife.
- 14. Lightly grease a baking dish.
- 15. Place the chicken pieces, lemon pieces, broccoli, and garlic into the dish.
- 16. Pour the wine and meat stock (fond) over the ingredients.
- 17. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish.
- 18. Bake the dish for about 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 19. Remove the baking dish from the oven.
- 20. Serve the food immediately while warm.
