  2. 2. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Season the drumsticks generously with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
  4. 4. Place the chicken drumsticks in a greased casserole dish.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven.
  6. 6. Roast the drumsticks in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
  7. 7. Baste the drumsticks repeatedly with the roasting fat during the cooking time.
  8. 8. Wash the nectarines and apples.
  9. 9. Quarter the fruit.
  10. 10. Core the fruit quarters.
  11. 11. Halve the garlic cloves crosswise.
  12. 12. Wash the thyme.
  13. 13. Shake the thyme dry.
  14. 14. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
  15. 15. Add the fruit and garlic to the drumsticks 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
