🍽️ Oven Roasted Chicken Drumsticks with Nectarines and Garlic

Ingredients
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- paprika powder (to taste)
- 30 g ghee (for the casserole)
- 2 ripe nectarines
- 2 ripe apples
- 1 head of garlic
- 4 sprigs of thyme
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken drumsticks thoroughly.
- 2. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the drumsticks generously with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 4. Place the chicken drumsticks in a greased casserole dish.
- 5. Preheat the oven.
- 6. Roast the drumsticks in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
- 7. Baste the drumsticks repeatedly with the roasting fat during the cooking time.
- 8. Wash the nectarines and apples.
- 9. Quarter the fruit.
- 10. Core the fruit quarters.
- 11. Halve the garlic cloves crosswise.
- 12. Wash the thyme.
- 13. Shake the thyme dry.
- 14. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 15. Add the fruit and garlic to the drumsticks 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
- 16. Roast the fruit and garlic along with the chicken.
- 17. Warm a serving plate.
- 18. Arrange the chicken drumsticks on the warmed plate.
- 19. Top the drumsticks with the fruit and garlic.
- 20. Garnish the dish with the thyme leaves.
- 21. Serve the dish.
