  1. 1. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.
  4. 4. Peel the carrot.
  5. 5. Grate the carrot finely.
  6. 6. Heat oil in a large frying pan.
  7. 7. Add the chicken cubes and the grated carrots to the hot pan.
  8. 8. Fry the mixture while stirring constantly for about 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Stir the curry powder into the meat and carrot mixture.
  10. 10. Fry the curry for a short moment to activate the flavors.
  11. 11. Remove the pan from the heat.
  12. 12. Stir the hummus into the warm mixture.
  13. 13. Season the filling with salt to taste.
  14. 14. Season the filling with freshly ground pepper to taste.
  15. 15. Add some lemon juice.
  16. 16. Let the chicken filling cool down completely.
  17. 17. Rinse the salad under cold water.
  18. 18. Remove wilted or dirty leaves from the salad.
