🍽️ Japanese-style Chicken Wings in Spicy Marinade

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg chicken wings
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp rice wine
- 2 garlic cloves
- spring onion strips (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water.
- 2. Pat the wings completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Place the wings side by side in a shallow baking dish.
- 4. Mix the soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, rice wine, and finely chopped garlic in a bowl.
- 5. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings.
- 6. Turn the wings so they are completely coated with the sauce.
- 7. Cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
- 8. Ideally, let the wings marinate overnight.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 10. Turn off the convection fan and use only top and bottom heat.
- 11. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 12. Take the wings out of the marinade and place them on the prepared tray.
- 13. Bake the wings in the oven for about 30 minutes.
- 14. Take the dish out of the oven occasionally.
- 15. Brush the wings with the remaining marinade.
- 16. Slice the spring onions into small rings.
- 17. Sprinkle the finished wings with the spring onions.
- 18. Serve the chicken wings hot.
