🍽️ Grilled Skewers with Chicken, Sausages, and Peppers

Ingredients
- 300 g chicken breast fillet (2 chicken breast fillets)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 coarse wild sausage links
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 bunch sage leaves
- 3 slices whole grain toast
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 250 g parboiled rice
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.
- 2. Mix the meat cubes with the soy sauce.
- 3. Cut the sausages into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 5. Halve the bell peppers lengthwise.
- 6. Remove the seeds and white inner membranes from the bell peppers.
- 7. Cut the deseeded bell peppers into larger cubes.
- 8. Wash the sage leaves.
- 9. Shake the sage leaves dry.
- 10. Cut the toast bread into small cubes.
- 11. Drizzle the bread cubes with the oil.
- 12. Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
- 13. Thread all prepared ingredients alternately onto the wooden skewers.
- 14. Grill the skewers for approx. 7–10 minutes on the hot grill.
- 15. Serve the skewers on plates with the rice.
- 16. Garnish the dish with lemon wedges.
