🍽️ Chicken Burgers with Sprouts

Ingredients
- 400 g chicken breast fillet (kitchen-ready, skinless)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp medium-hot mustard
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs (e.g. parsley, chervil, thyme, etc.)
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 leaves frisée lettuce
- 1 cucumber
- 4 rolls
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tbsp onion sprouts
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken meat under running water and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Cut the meat into small cubes.
- 3. Grind the meat cubes through the fine blade of your meat grinder.
- 4. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 5. Add the minced meat, garlic, mustard, egg, herbs, and breadcrumbs to a large bowl.
- 6. Knead all ingredients together by hand until you have a uniform mixture.
- 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8. Shape the meat mixture into four equal-sized burger patties.
- 9. Heat some oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- 10. Fry the burger patties on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.
- 11. Rinse the lettuce leaves under cold water.
- 12. Remove any tough stems and spin the lettuce dry.
- 13. Peel the cucumber and slice it into thin rounds.
- 14. Slice the buns in half horizontally.
- 15. Spread a little ketchup on the bottom halves of the buns.
- 16. Place a lettuce leaf and a few cucumber slices on the bottom bun.
- 17. Place a cooked chicken patty on top of the vegetables.
- 18. Top the burger with fresh sprouts and additional lettuce leaves.
- 19. Place the top bun on and serve the burgers immediately.
