🍽️ Crispy Chicken Breast Rolls with Bacon and Lime

Ingredients
- 650 g chicken breast fillet
- 250 g mozzarella
- 8 sprigs rosemary
- salt
- pepper
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 organic limes
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast under cold water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Cut the chicken breast into 8 thin slices.
- 4. Pound the meat slices flat until they look like cutlets.
- 5. Slice the mozzarella cheese.
- 6. Wash the rosemary sprigs and shake them dry.
- 7. Season the chicken slices with salt and pepper.
- 8. Top each cutlet with a slice of mozzarella.
- 9. Place a piece of rosemary in the center on top of the cheese.
- 10. Roll up the chicken slices tightly.
- 11. Wrap one slice of bacon around each roll.
- 12. Secure the rolls with toothpicks.
- 13. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 14. Fry the rolls on all sides until golden brown over medium heat.
- 15. The cooking time is about 6 to 8 minutes.
- 16. Rinse the limes under hot water.
- 17. Dry the limes.
- 18. Halve the limes.
- 19. Fry the lime halves in the pan for 3 to 4 minutes alongside the chicken.
- 20. Distribute the chicken breast rolls with bacon onto 4 plates.
- 21. Serve the fried lime halves alongside.
- 22. Remove the toothpicks from the rolls.
- 23. Finally, adjust the seasoning with a little salt and pepper.
