🍽️ Chicken breast with tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets (approx. 600 g)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 pack tomato pieces (with herbs, 370 g)
- 125 ml dry red wine
- 1 tbsp oregano (freshly chopped)
- 2 tbsp green olives (pitted)
Instructions
- 1. Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper and fry them in hot oil for about 8 minutes. Remove them, wrap them in aluminum foil and keep them warm.
- 2. Peel the onion and dice it. Sauté it in the frying fat. Add the tomato pieces and red wine, season the sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Finally, adjust the seasoning to taste.
- 3. Stir the oregano and olives into the tomato sauce. Remove the chicken breast fillets from the foil and stir the released meat juices into the sauce.
- 4. Slice the chicken breast fillets diagonally and serve them with the sauce.
- 5. Serve with pasta.
