🍽️ Pan-fried Chicken Breast with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 onion
- 250 g small mushrooms
- 3 tbsp butter
- 250 ml chicken broth (instant)
- dark sauce thickener
- 300 g snow peas
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under running water.
- 2. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Heat one tablespoon of ghee in a large frying pan.
- 4. Fry the chicken fillets on each side for about five minutes until golden brown.
- 5. Remove the cooked chicken breast from the pan and set it aside.
- 6. Peel one onion and slice it into thin rings.
- 7. Clean the mushrooms and slice them into half-centimeter thick pieces.
- 8. Heat the remaining ghee in a second frying pan.
- 9. Fry the onion rings until they are soft and translucent.
- 10. Add the mushrooms and sauté them for two to three minutes while stirring.
- 11. Deglaze the mushrooms with broth.
- 12. Dilute the thickening agent according to package instructions in a little cold liquid and stir it into the hot sauce.
- 13. Season the sauce finally with salt and pepper.
- 14. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 15. Cook the snow peas in it for about four minutes until tender-crisp.
- 16. Drain the snow peas.
- 17. Place the chicken breast on the plates.
- 18. Pour the mushroom sauce over the meat.
- 19. Garnish with the snow peas and serve the dish warm.
